We are searching for a Strategic Planning Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our Quality Assurance (QA) department in Trier, Germany. You will be part of a cross-functional project team. This will be an excellent opportunity to broaden your knowledge about all QA activities and to develop expert skills in FDA approval requests.

Job ID: 79537 / Location: Trier / Start: As soon as possible Your Responsibilities:

  • Establish detailed QA deliverables overview in close communication with the initiative project management office and involved QA teams. Align achievable timelines with QA internal teams and ensure consolidation and distribution to PMO
  • Act as single point of contact for QA function towards the corporate initiative PMO
  • Lead clarification process of expectations, requirements and deliverables with the QA internal teams, PMO and/or utilized external resources/experts. Coordinate and facilitate required internal meetings, including preparation and write-up
  • Drive forward the creation of expected QA deliverables and verify them as per agreed timelines and requirements
  • Conduct continuous progress monitoring and escalate delay risks at an early stage to ensure appropriate resource allocation with QA teams for the QA project sponsor. Direct timely resolution of identified issues in a professional manner in close collaboration with required parties
  • Deliver robust project documentation for QA knowledge management purposes
  • Prepare and align required periodical journals/jour fixes for QA internal stakeholders and external customers with the QA project sponsor
  • Ensure timely consolidation and distribution of QA deliverables to PMO and ensure consistent archiving of relevant documents/materials

Your Profile:

  • Scientific or technical university degree (preferably chemistry, physics, environmental engineering, food technology or comparable studies)
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience and robust knowledge in quality management, preferably in the tobacco industry. Experience in FDA is desired. Additional experience working in a GMP-regulated industry (ideally pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements or medical devices) is considered as an advantage
  • Sovereignty in negotiations with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrable multitasking, project management, and execution skills as well as the ability to lead in the context of project work
  • Ability to apply technical knowledge and understanding to make appropriate and timely risk-based decisions
  • Integrative personality with distinctive ability to communicate cross-functionally in an international environment and to work in a team
  • Comprehensive knowledge of data analysis techniques and statistics
  • Competent knowledge in ISO 9001
  • Organizational skills, flexibility, reliability, creativity and confidentiality
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken). Other languages are considered as an advantage
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office) including experience in SAP
