Leidos is seeking a Test Engineer for a position as part of a team supporting the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) in Fort Meade, MD.
The Test Engineer is responsible for supporting tasks on the contract related to the Unified Cyber Situational Awareness (UCSA) program. UCSA brings together disparate cyber platforms into a single centralized cyber defense environment, meeting all operational requirements that assist with the further enablement of Cyber Mission Forces (CMF) conducting full spectrum cyberspace operations and enhanced cyber analytics.
Analyzes system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop and author evaluation and test plans and procedures.
Prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results.
Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.
Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.
Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the SOW or as directed by the customer.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field plus ten (10) years of relevant IT experience.
An active Secret level security clearance.
A DoD 8570 IAT Level II approved certification such as CompTIA Security Plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing ability, is required.
Self-Motivated, problem solver with a proactive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to integrate into an existing technical team comprised of contractors and government customers.
Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
